Faux Retouching and Repair for a Paradise Valley Home
Along with some major cracking that needed to be repaired and the faux blended in, there was a border around the dining room area left over from the previous owner. The new owners, wanting to open up the space more and make it their own, asked for the border to be covered over and painted to match the surrounding faux finish. This was achieved by applying a stain blocking primer first and then over-painting to match the faux. The color was visually matched and tweaked on site to blend and then a clear glaze ragged over it to blend the sheen.
