Fish scale pattern for a Queen Creek home

These clients wanted to paint their daughter’s room to suit her taste but without it being too age specific. They asked me to paint the room with a pale lilac and then add a feature wall with a fish scale pattern – inspired by an example they’d found online. For the feature wall, I added a soft pink faux before applying the fish scale pattern. I used a custom, hand-cut stencil and several special mixes of metallic paints and irridescent powders. This gives a range of different colored scales that change in hue depending on the light source and viewing position.
