Mural painting of a view through an arch for a North Scottsdale home
Instead of looking out of their dining room window at a blank wall, I painted a view through an arch. 7′ x 10′, it was painted with exterior latex paints over 4 mornings to avoid the hottest parts of the day. Although I produced a sketch to work from, the elements changed as the mural progressed, becoming more expansive. The street became a plaza and the fountain a central focus. The photos below indicate the progression from day to day.
